Vessel traffic in both directions in the Bosphorus Strait was suspended at 16.45 hours local time today (10 January) following the reported engine failure of a bulk carrier vessel travelling southbound near the Yenikoy area.
The vessel was later cleared from the Strait and traffic for southbound vessels scheduled to resume at 19.00 hours local time.
