Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMPK) has decided that the shutdown of Berth 17(0) (erstwhile HOJ II) shall begin from 22 April.
The shutdown will be for a total duration of 30 days and to be undertaken in three phases of 10 days each.
In view of the operating convenience of port users, intermittent windows for vessel operation to be allowed for periods varying between 3 to 4 days in between the above-mentioned shutdown phases. The duration of such working windows to be decided by the appropriate authority of SMPK.
All users of HOJ-II are requested to be guided by the same and plan their vessels accordingly. The duration of the above shutdown may increase in the event of exigency.
