New Scale of Rates in force

The new Scale of Rates with effect from 1 May for vessels calling directly to JNPA, reproduced as under:

Vessel of 3000 tons & upwards (except fishing boats)
MBPT
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 10.3608
- Rate per GRT (Foreign – in US$): 0.3786
- The due is payable on each entry into the port.
Revised rate as per MBPT SOR for JNPT (18% of MBPT Port Dues)
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 1.8649
- Rate per GRT (Foreign – in US$): 0.0681

Vessel of ten tons & upwards but less than 3000 tons (except fishing boats)
MBPT
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 7.3138
- Rate per GRT (Foreign – in US$): 0.2672
- The due is payable on each entry into the port.
Revised rate as per MBPT SOR for JNPT (18% of MBPT Port Dues)
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 1.3165
- Rate per GRT (Foreign – in US$): 0.0481

Tugs, boats, ferry boats & river boats whether propelled by steam or other mechanical means arriving from ports outside India
MBPT
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 7.3138
- Rate per GRT (Foreign – in US$): 0.2672
- The due is payable once between 1 January & 30 June and once between 1 July & 31 December in each year.
Revised rate as per MBPT SOR for JNPT (18% of MBPT Port Dues)
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 1.3165
- Rate per GRT (Foreign – in US$): 0.0481

Inland vessels operating within port limits
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 7.3138
- The due is payable once in the same month.
Revised rate as per MBPT SOR for JNPT (18% of MBPT Port Dues)
- Rate per GRT (Coastal – in INR): 1.3165
