Maintenance dry docking of floating crane

The floating crane Jal Mahal will be available for cargo operations at deep drafted locations of Sagar Anchorage until midnight of 15 August. Thereafter, [it] will proceed for maintenance dry docking at Kolkata from 16 August and thus will be unavailable for lighterage operations for a period of 30 to 45 days.

During the aforementioned period of non-availability, the floating crane MB-22A shall be the only floating crane available for deployment and undertaking lighterage operations.

All concerned are hereby requested to plan their vessels in such a manner that vessel reporting at HDC, SMP Kolkata Anchorage points shall preferably have their cargo stowage restricted to four/five hatches to facilitate lighterage operation through single floating crane during period of non-availability due to dry docking.
