Tug operator Svitzer Australia has received further notices of protected industrial action for Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne starting from Saturday 5 November.
This is in addition to actions already underway nationwide by the three maritime unions (the MUA, AIMPE and AMOU).
The additional, new actions are from the Australian Maritime Officers Union (AMOU – Tug Master) and include:
